I’m a Los Angeles-based software engineer building across Python, JavaScript, and Swift.
My path into tech wasn’t linear. I studied Human Biology at UC San Diego, spent two years in medical school, and eventually found my way back to the kind of work that made me feel most alive: building.
I first discovered that while creating FlyClicker, a Python tool that automated research workflows and monitored CPU and memory usage. It was one of the first times I saw how code could transform frustration into leverage and ideas into something real. That stuck with me.
Since then, I’ve grown through full-stack web development and iOS development, from building MERN social features like profiles, friend systems, and real-time chat for CupQuest, to creating StrideBound, a Swift/UIKit fitness app centered around running, motivation, and thoughtful design.
What draws me to software is more than problem-solving. I’m interested in the way technology shapes experience. I care about building things that are not only functional, but clear, elegant, and human.
A lot of my philosophy comes down to one belief: everything is art. Code is art. Systems are art. Habits are art. The way we work, move, and live can all be shaped with intention. I want my projects to reflect that—through simplicity, craftsmanship, and usefulness that people can actually feel.
I’m still growing, and that matters to me. I want to keep becoming the kind of person who can build beautiful, useful things that leave a real impression. Explore my projects to see how that philosophy turns into products.
Other Things That Matter to Me
When I’m away from the keyboard, I’m usually drawn to the same things that shape how I work: discipline, curiosity, beauty, and growth.
- Music: I love discovering music that changes the feeling of a day. Lately, I’ve fallen back in love with drum and bass.
- Training: I keep a semi-regular gym routine and am currently working toward holding a front lever. I’m drawn to the slow, honest process of earning something difficult.
- Ambidexterity: As a left-hander, I’ve been spending more time practicing with my right hand. It started as curiosity, but it’s also become a reminder that growth often feels awkward before it feels natural.
- Art: I find a lot of inspiration in visual art and other creative mediums, especially when they reveal a different way of seeing. Every so often, I feel compelled to make some of my own. You can explore some of it here.
- Reading: I’m endlessly drawn to ideas, stories, and worlds that expand the way I think. Right now, I’m making my way through Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere.
